Welcome to Rose's Rescue

alt mce_tsrc=images/stories/rr%20one%20line%20logo%20small.bmp is 501(c)(3) non-profit all-breed rescue run by a small group of volunteers. We primarily focus on local pound rescues because we feel these are the animals in the most dire need of a second chance.

We are committed to educating the public on the importance of spay and neuter, routine vaccinations, heartworm protection, and aids and leukemia testing for cats.

Meet Jacko…

Our Jacko is a silly guy, even for a beagle!  He loves to chase shadows and light beams.  His crazy antics will be sure keep a smile on your face.  Jacko's had a rough time of things in the past, though, so he's not looking for a home with young kids.  He DOES get along with other dogs just fine, so if you have a home with just grownups and maybe another dog or two who needs a companion, maybe Jacko is the guy for you!

News and Events...

Rose's Rescue is once again pleased to be a part of Maurices (contemporary clothing and fashion accessories store) annual Rescues & Runways event. Maurice's franchises throughout the country are holding fashion shows, collecting donations, and helping to raise awareness for the plight of sheltered pets everywhere.  For the second year in a row, the Maurice's in the Target/Giant Eagle plaza in Stow has kindly chosen Rose's Rescue as the beneficiary of this wonderful campaign.  More details to follow, but for now, items for our rescued pets can be dropped off at the Maurice's store.   Stop by and look around - they have some awesome clothes and are wonderful supporters of our rescue!

MARK YOUR CALENDARS!  Our annual Roses Rescue Reunion and Fundraising Event is slated for September 11.  See the flyer below for all the details.  We look forward to seeing many of our former adoptable dogs there for a day of fun and canine capering - please join us!

You Can Help

If you can't adopt or foster a pet at this time, you can always help out by donating. Even a donation of $5.00 can mean a lot to a homeless pet.
