Hi my name is Onyx (aka Black Cat). A nice lady who saw me outside her home as a stray began helping me by feeding me and giving me a place to sleep on her porch.  She was unable to bring me inside because she had her own pets to care for.  But she reached out to Rose's Rescue for help and with their help I am now completely vetted, I am FIV/FeLV negative, vaccinated, flea treated, wormed and neutered. I am ready to find my forever family. I am no longer an outside cat and I am enjoying the life of an indoor cat.  I am litter box trained and I love my soft cat bed. I haven't showed much interest in cat toys yet but I do love hanging out on the top bed of the cat tree. Since I have been living outside we don't know if I'm good with children or dogs.  I was spending time with a colony of cats and seemed to get along with them OK. I am shy when first meeting people, but I warm up once I feel comfortable with you.  My purr-fect family will love me and understand that I only want to be your family member and live in the house with you. Love Onyx
