Any human's out there in need of a buddy!!

Hi my name is Cubby and I am a special boy.  I would be considered the perfect dog because I love people and kids, and am an all-around good boy EXCEPT for two little things; I do have a heart condition and must stay on meds, and I also do not get along with most other dogs.  This does not make me easy to adopt, but I feel strong, love people, and would be a wonderful pal for someone, so I am sure my furever home is out there somewhere!!!!

SO WE ARE LOOKING FOR A PERMANT HOME OR FOSTER HOME FOR CUBBY WITH NO OTHER DOGS!

CUBBY IS A BEAGLE/BASSET MIX WEIGHING APPROXIMATELY 40LBS.

I was adopted as a pup and had a great home with my sibling and a family with kids, but as I matured I found I had difficulty getting along with other dogs.  I am good on leash, because I know you are in charge. I can go to the park with other dogs and I can be walked down the street on leash with no problem. I am a perfect gentleman on a leash

I was born with a litter of pups that had parvo. This strain of parvo attacked my heart. We don't know how long I will have -so far I am feeling great. There are meds that I take each day. They are inexpensive and I am stabilized. However, I could still go at any time. Personally, I feel I will live a long time, because I can run like the wind and play and nothing has happened. I am so loving and affectionate, that I make it worth that risk. I LOVE people and kids. I play fetch and am great fun. I am a loyal friend and would love to be at your side. I also love to swim, if you are near water.
