**Rocco** 

** Up For Adoption OR Rescue Transfer** This is a Special Needs Guy!!

This guy is HW Positive and is going through HW Treatment. Our Rescue will provide his adopter or  Rescue, with the next 9 months of Treatment, that the Vet suggested.

Rocco- 5 to 7 years of age. Male- NOT Neutered (due to him going through HW Treatment.) American Showline German Shepherd. 
He's Up To Date on Vaccines & Flea Prevention. 

Rocco is crate trained, leash trained, does well with other SOCIAL dogs, good with cats, good in the car and he knows basic commands! 

This guy had an absolutely horrible life, before coming into rescue...he was tied to the inside of a home and was "taught" personal protection, by people who knew nothing about this caliber of training. He was then taken by a "rescue" where he lived in an outdoor kennel, with NO people or animal interaction. He has been in a Behavioral Rehabilitation program, to make him a more social boy. He is doing really well with people, both male and female. I would not have him in a home with kids, because of his past.

He can be obsessive, has a strong ball drive. He requires a good amount of exercise daily, but needs to be monitored because he's going through HW prevention. Because, He needs exercise, to stay in a good & safe place mentally, we are going through a "slow kill" treatment for his heartworms. He will need 9 more months, of monthly treatment,(Which we will provide!) to hopefully irradicate the HW's. 

We think he'd be an EXCELLENT companion to a loner type personality, with not a lot of visitors. No children in the home.

** 2nd Chance GSD Rescue has 3 AMAZING German Shepherds Up For Adoption!! ** -Anyone interested is Adopting, will be sent an Adoption Application via email
-Adoptable dogs, will be worked with their possible Adopter, before the dog is placed in his or her forever home. This is to Ensure a successful Adoption!
-We do home checks, for all of our Adoptable Dogs.
