This handsome boy is waiting for his furever home at the Portage Co Dog Warden's Shelter.
He can be a little timid at first, but Bear warms up in no time and is so sweet! We always get plenty of kisses He enjoys being petted and loved, but he is also very interested in his surroundings. This boy has figured out how to open the door handle at the shelter Obviously he’s a smart cookie! Bear learns quickly with treats, and it’s no doubt you could teach him some awesome tricks if he already figured out how to open a door by himself! Besides his curiosity, Bear has a soft spot for toys He plays gently and shared them with us without hesitation. When it was time to go back to his kennel, Bear walked calmly down the shelter aisle, not even phased by all the barking dogs to his right and left. He seems to have potential with doggy playmates, although it is important to schedule a meet and greet with your
