Meet Martha! This beautiful girl is between 1 and 3-years-old and came to us as a stray. She can initially be timid around people, but with patience and a few treats she will warm right up to you. She loves chin scratches, ear rubs, scratch posts, window perches with a view, and hanging out with other cats. Martha is a laid back and mellow girl who doesn't play with toys often, but she will go wild for a good laser pointer session. She is usually a couch potato and is happiest when lounging next to her humans for movie night. Martha snuggles up every evening to sleep with her foster mom and feline foster brother. She doesn't mind dogs and has been friendly to the puppy her foster family petsits. Martha came to us with an injured tail that our vet believed would need to be amputated. Fortunately, her tail has been healing and is making great progress! Martha's injury does not affect her quality of life or mobility. We do not believe she will need any special care throughout her life, but ask that adopters keep an eye on the healing area for the first few weeks post-adoption. Martha's ideal adopter is experienced in cat care and comfortable examining her tail.
