Hello there, my name is Monte and I am almost 8 years old. I weigh around 13 lbs.  I was adopted from the rescue years ago, but now my mama cannot take care of me, so I came back to find a new home. I do not care for other dogs, cats, or kids. I will need to be your one and only. I am a great protector of my human, so have a little of a feisty side, but I love being with people and am looking for a lap to sit on.  I love to snuggle under my blanket and peak out at you. I love to sleep  under the covers in bed with my person.   I will need a fenced yard or someone that is able to give me a daily  walk.  I can be a vocal boy, so probably not the best for apartment living.
