Hi there! My name is Scout. I am a happy kitten that is full of energy yet I love to snuggle. I came to the rescue with my five siblings after spending 7 weeks with my mother. My foster mom says I’m sweet and have a loud purr. She has a labradoodle that I’m happy to greet, play with and snuggle up to. She named me Scout because I like to explore and am curious about what’s happening around me. It’s true however I’m just as happy to curl up on your lap and watch tv especially if the Brown are winning. I was on July 20th. The woman's house we were born in contacted Rose's Rescue and then there I was, in a comfy home with my brothers! So here we all are and we will be ready for adoption on October 22nd.
I was taken off the website for a little bit because I became sick. It turns out, something punctured my poor little bum and it became abscessed. The vet said this is actually pretty typical the way us kittens play it could have been a bite from my brother Marco!
We weren’t sure what was wrong at first so the rescue just removed me from viewing until we got it handled. I was placed on antibiotics, the abscess has since been drained and cleaned and I am on my way to being done with those pesky antibiotics.
Please keep in mind when applying for a kitten that they can be very rambunctious. They will run laps around your home and possibly climb your curtains. Cats and kittens must have a scratching post not only to climb, but to scratch of course. Scratching is natural for cats and they do this for many reasons. Couches often fall victim to this since this is where family tend to congregate and cats are marking this area since you are in it! Cats like high places and love to climb too of course.
My adoption fee is $100.00 this includes:
