Layla here and I am lover of my people:

I had a good home, but decided I didn't like the other dog, after I became alpha. The other dog is alpha too, so it was a conflict. I need a home without another dog, unless the other dog is submissive. I was adopted as a pup. I had gone to the rescue with 2 broken knees. What a bad start.I was fixed up and I can run like the wind now. I am a 3.5 year old, brindle, pit mix. I weigh approximately 54 lbs. I am a loving girl ,that is  house and crate trained. I sleep in my crate, when left home alone. I will walk on a leash with a harness, but I pull quite a bit with excitement at the beginning of a walk. I don't care about other dogs and do not get excited when I see them on my walk. I do need a fenced yard to run in. I know several basic commands including sit, stay, lay down, leave it, take it, spin, and I love to cuddle!  I haven't mastered fetch, but love to play tug and run around with a ball in my mouth. I am a good eater - not picky about food or treats, have no food allergies, eat when fed without extra prompting, and I'm not food aggressive. I am spayed, up to date on vaccines and has been on Nexgard (flea and tick) and Heartgard (heart worm) preventatives throughout my life.
