Hello folks, aren't I cute? The perfect size at 31 lbs. Potty outside like a good boy and sit for my treats. Time for bed? I go right in my crate. Foster mom gives me a little head rub, shuts the door, and then I get a little treat. If you're going away for a few hours I don't need in my crate. I will just chill , I am not destructive. I will be happy to see you when you come home, I'll jump all over you . Bad habit but I am working on it. Another bad habit, my worse, is nipping at you unexpectantly on occasion. I have improved on this because I am learning to trust and being shown affection isn't so bad. I'm also learning I'm not the boss. I have not been properly socialized in my first six years. I've been kept in the kitchen and another small room.I didn't get out to play, didn't go for car rides, didn't get to spend time on the couch with family. It's taken me a month to get on the couch here in my foster home without being coaxed. There's a couple other dogs here, we get along fine, I don't really understand how to play with them. I would probably do best as the only dog. Teddy needs a mature woman as a companion experienced with behavior issues. He takes quite the while to trust men, but will come around in his own time. Again PATIENCE . Teddy will make a great companion but only if given the time to adjust. Experienced with neglected dog issues only, no children.
