My name is Sahvi. I am on the small side for a German Shepherd. I am very friendly and get along with everyone I have met as well as other dogs. I need some training but I am very food motivated and willing to please. I am a quiet girl, my foster mom has never even heard me bark! I am housebroken and crate trained. I love to run and chase squirrels, so a fenced yard would be a good idea for me to have. My life has been difficult lately. I was picked up as a stray and spent a month and a half at the pound before I came into Roses Rescue. They  found out I was heartworm positive, so after the treatment, I had to spend 6 weeks in a crate while the worms in my heart died. I need to stay in the crate until January 17th, then I will be liberated! When they spayed me, they also removed some mammary tumors. After all that I am fine now and ready to move on to my forever home with a family of my own.  If you know someone who loves shepherds, but thinks they're too big, I might be the perfect fit!
