Sugar will need a patient home to let her decompress and learn to trust you. She will slowly come around , she has not been socialized .  Sugar is skittish actually terrified of the unknown, loud unexpected noises, new things, strangers, men. All will need introduced slowly , not forced.                                                                                                                                                    That was the bad news. The good news is in her 2 weeks of foster care she is now potty trained, loving to Foster Mom , slowly coming around to the man of the house. Gets along with my 2 dogs, sleeps in a crate at night with no protest or accidents. She will bark if left in crate during the day for short periods . She has learned to sit and we're working on shake, "stay back" as when the door opens. Recall is good in the house but not outside. She is smart, treat motivated . The terrier in her personality is coming out, she now plays fetch with a ball. When excited she has begun jumping up nipping at pant legs, a loud hey or no is the only correction needed for unwanted behavior. Sugar is very sweet, wants to be with you, loving to the right person.
