This is Mia.  She is a very gentle girl.   She is calm, sweet, and a handy size as she weighs right around 30 lbs.  Mia gets along very well with her canine foster sisters here (not sure about cats) so it would be really great if she could go to a home with another dog.  In fact, we are looking to only place her in a home where she will be assured to have other canine companionship.  She is a little shy with new people at first but can quickly be won over with a tasty treat or two.  And once she knows you, she will give you her heart completely!   Mia especially loves snuggling up right next to her person at night; if you are looking for a little love-bug, look no further!  She is not a yappy dog but will bark at someone approaching who is unfamiliar, so even though she's not so big, she could still make a good watch dog.  Mia likes to ride in the car and enjoys laying on the couch with her foster mom to watch TV.  She also LOVES to go and play (and even swim a little) at Bow Wow Beach!  If you think Miss Mia might be your kind of girl, please fill out an application for her using the link below.  She will be waiting to meet you soon.
