UPDATE!!!  It is urgent that we find a home for Richard soon as his island foster Mom is is leaving her island home soon and there is no other foster home available.  She said Richard is a really loving boy who is very eager to learn and loves to play and swim.  He gets along with everyone, though he does kind of like to be the boss with other dogs.  He just wants to be loved and would make someone a wonderful companion!!  Please consider helping Richard find the loving, forever home he deserves!!

 

Richard is a sweet, happy little guy who is currently living on a small island in the Caribbean.  He was found wandering around one of the beach areas and has been enjoying life in his foster home for the past 3 months, but is ready for his forever home.

 

Richard is around 10 months old and weighs approximately 35 pounds.  When he was found he had heartworm but the good people at the Animal Welfare have put him through treatment and he is healthy and on heartworm preventative now.  

 

Richard is very happy guy who likes to play with all toys and really loves to swim too.  Richard has the cutest front paws that are somewhat turned-out, in duck like fashion, but that doesn't keep from doing anything at all and it certainly doesn't slow him down.  He is currently living with other dogs and cats, and he loves to run around playing with them, but would prefer to have the attention and love all for himself---he is ready for all the love you can give him!!
