Jet is a very sweet young guy who is currently living on a small island in the Caribbean.  He is one of the lucky ones though, because he is in a foster home.

 

Jet is around 7 months old, around 35# and loves to run, play and swim.  He gets along really well with other dogs, and loves all people.  

 

The life of an island dog isn't as glamorous as it may sound.  Other than the obvious problems of finding food and water and staying safe from natural threats, unfortunately there are safety concerns from humans too.  One of the local customs involves poisoning dogs (and cats) that may be considered a nuisance or annoying.  In the past 6 months, there has been a rash of these poisonings and many animals, even some with owners have died.
