UPDATE: Jessie has recently graduated from the cell dog program. During this program she was trained by selected inmates who were overseen by a professional dog trainer. She attended classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Jessie has now completed her training and is ready for her forever home. Could that be you?
Hi, My name is Jessie and I am a 4 1/2 year old mixed breed girl - maybe Finnish Spitz and Beagle? I might even have some Golden Retriever in me though I am not nearly that big. I am on the small size, apx 30 pounds tops. I was adopted through another rescue back in 2008 and returned because my dad got sick and could no longer take care of me. I am a super sweet girl who loves kids and I get along well with most other dogs but not all and even kitties, too. I NEVER have accidents in the house and I love to play and cuddle. My foster mom says I am also very smart. In fact, I once alerted my foster family of a problem with their furnace! I just want to make sure that my family is safe. Can you ask me for anything better than that? I have so much love to give, I am just waiting for my new family. Could that be you?
