UPDATE:Carter has recently joined the cell dog program.  During this program he will be trained by selected inmates who will be overseen by a professional dog trainer. He will attend classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Carter can be visited and even adopted while he is in the Cell Dog program.

 

Hi, My name is Carter and I was brought in to the local pound as a stray. Surely I had a family who loved me at some point in the past, because I am such a great boy!  I am somewhat high energy but I make up for it by being just so glad to see everyone. I am a happy guy who needs a ticket to a new life.I am good with people,dogs and cats.I am in the prison to learn new tricks, but I already know most everything.  I promise I will be your new best friend.
