This is Cole and he is a young Border Collie mix boy who is in the Portage Pound. He is about 1 - 2 years old, up to date on his shots and already neutered. He is very friendly with all people and LOVES kids. He doesn't particularly like other dogs and would need to be introduced to new dogs then he should be OK.  He was surrended to the pound by his former owners becaues they did not understand about the "herding" instincts of the Border Collie breed. If you are familiar with the breed you should have no trouble with him as he is a gentle guy. He has been taught to sit to meet new people (and even kids) instead of jump on them. He likes to go for car rides and is an all around nice dog. If you are interested in Cole please come to the shelter to meet him.
