Pammy is not with Rose's Rescue. We will not be handling her adoption or any inquiries for her. She is currently available from the Stark County Dog Warden's office in Canton. This shelter is usually overcrowded and when they are completely full, dogs must be euthanized for new dogs coming in. Rose's Rescue is hoping to help their plight by posting some of their volunteer's favorite dogs on our site. If interested, please contact or visit the Stark County Dog Warden's office or visit their website for hours, address, and more information: http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/OH175.html
Here is what the volunteers have to say about Pammy: (It sounds like she could really use a loving home soon!)
Picked up as a stray on 1/11. Available on 1/17. Little Pammy is oh so shy! She is still very frightened of her new surroundings, and none of us can blame her for that. She's a very pretty dog. Pammy would like to leave the pound sooner than later, so let's help her find a home. She is at high risk of being put down, don't let this young, sweet dog's life end at a pound. Pammy deserves a home, with someone who will have patience...she hasn't been properly socialized. She will be a great pet given the chance. Pammy does warm up to a person once she knows them - and then she wants to stay right by your side. Helping a shy dog come out of her shell and watch her blossom can be one of the most rewarding experiences you can imagine. Pammy would love to give you that experience! (She is also a very beautiful dog!)
$86.00 fee includes license, 5 way shot if able and available. $50.00 goes to the cost of spay/neuter and rabies. . We take cash only, no checks, or credit cards. Because most of our dogs in the kennel are strays, we do not have any knowledge about each individual dog's background, so we cannot make any health claims or behavior assurances concerning our dogs. Stray dogs are held 72 hours before being placed for adoption. 501c3 Rescue Organizations may pull a dog at a reduced rate, but must provide proof of non-profit status.
