Sherman is my name and orneriness is my game! I didn’t have the best start in life and because of that I can be timid and shy at first. But don’t let that fool you! I love people that play with me and cuddle me and make me feel safe. I love all kinds of toys and even though I have lots of ‘em, I still like to test out my foster mom’s socks that she leaves on the floor. I’ve been told ’m a smart cookie and I am very motivated for food and toys, even though I can’t control my excitement sometimes, I will usually sit, shake, and lay down. I love my foster sister and would really enjoy having another dog around to show me the ropes and make me feel comfortable and play with me when you can’t. Like I said, I love people and I love to be with my caretaker so naturally I do not like being left alone for longer periods of time; plus I am only 3 months old and have to potty often so being locked in a cage for a long time doesn’t sit well with me. Did I mention I was a cuddler? Oh, I did? Well when bed time rolls around someone better be scoochin over ‘cause I want nothing more than to sleep beside you all night and give you kisses when you wake up in the morning. My mom is a beagle and my dad is a beagle/cocker spaniel, so even when I’m full grown I won’t take up too much room (I shouldn’t be larger than 25 lbs). I am working on potty training every day and my foster mom says I’m doing pretty well. If I have an accident inside it is almost always on a training pad. All in all, I need someone who is going to be patient with me and make me feel safe and not leave me alone for long periods of times. If you think I sound like your guy and you think you can give me the home I deserve and need then please fill out an application for me! I turned 12 weeks old on 2/14/14 and am up to date on my puppy shots. Since I am still too young, I can’t be neutered for a couple more months.
