Rowan now has an adoption pending, thank you!

Rowan came to us from a pound in southern Ohio, and just in time, too, as she had six puppies the evening after she arrived.  She's been a great mama to her babies, and now is looking for a home of her own.  She will be spayed as soon as our vet deems is appropriate.  She weights between 20 and 25 lbs.

Rowan is very sweet and loves to be loved on.  She enjoys being outside and is especially good at squirrel patrol.  A smart girl, she taught herself to use the dog door just by watching her foster siblings.  She would make a good watch dog, as she will bark at strangers coming near the house.  

It took a while for Rowan to get along well with the other dogs here, but that could be due to her immediate motherhood shortly after arriving.  She loves playing with them now, so should be a good companion for another dog, though she might need some time for her to bond with him or her.
