Chumley has somewhat unusual markings and it is anyone's guess as to what he will look like when he grows up, but he does have shorter legs and a longer body like his mother.  He is a sweetheart.  Mama Rowan is definitely a Dachshund mix (about 25 lbs) but we don't know the breed(s) of the puppies' daddy so they could be bigger or smaller and maybe not even look like her at all.  

We expecting a LOT of interest in these puppies, so if you fill out an application, please be patient as our volunteers will get through them as soon as humanly possible, but it will likely be a longer processing time than usual.  They will be ready to leave for their forever homes in early to mid June.

Also, please remember that puppies this young will need you now more than ever because this is the age when they begin to understand structure and routine.  Besides the fact that their bodies are not developed enough to “hold it” when they are this young, leaving them crated or unattended for hours on end will not offer them the love, attention, socialization, exercise, or training that they will need to become the adult dogs you want them to be for their lifetime - and your lifetime too.
