Hi, My name is Johnny and I am new to the rescue. A kind hearted woman took me in when she found out I was being kept in a crate just about 24/7and is going to foster me for the rescue. I was covered with fleas, dirt and matted hair. Well, I have had several baths, some good flea dope and a non professional haircut and I feel a whole lot better. When my good clean hair grows back in I can get a professional grooming but in the condition I was in this is a major improvement.  I am just starting to come out of my shell.I could use  a doggy friend to teach me the ropes and make me feel secure. I know I love to sit on peoples laps and cuddle but other than that everything is new and pretty scary right now. I am good with other dogs and love the kids I have met. I have been brought up to date on my vaccines and will be neutered very soon. Then I will be ready for some gentle soul to take me in and teach me that people can be good and can take care of me the way I deserve.
