Etta is the biggest pup in the litter.  She has a very soft and longish fur and is an unusual shade of brown - maybe you'd call it a mocha color?  She's a bit of a cuddle bug, as she can get a little whiney when she's tired and wants to be picked up - smart girl!  She was one of the first puppies to come and lay next to her foster mom after they were old enough to walk around and explore.  She will probably be a bigger dog - perhaps 50 lbs?

All of the puppies in this litter are a real mystery as to their breed makeup.  Mama Bryn is a medium-sized wiry-coated terrier mix (about 35 lbs) but none of the puppies look much like her.  Therefore, we have no idea what they will look like when they are adults.  Guessing from their weights now, we THINK they are going to be small to medium sized dogs, but again, there is no way to know for sure so this is only a guess.  

Puppies from this litter are expected to be old enough to leave on or about Saturday, September 17, as long as our vet and the puppies' foster mom feels they are ready when the time comes.  

Please remember that puppies this young will need you now more than ever because this is the age when they begin to understand structure and routine.  Besides the fact that their bodies are not developed enough to “hold it” when they are this young, leaving them crated or unattended for hours on end will not offer them the love, attention, socialization, exercise, or training that they will need to become the adult dogs you want them to be for their lifetime - and your lifetime too.
