Hello! My sister Dott and I were recently returned because our former mom and dad are moving and couldn't take us with them. I was so scared and confused as to why they left me in this strange new home, I didn't go to the bathroom, eat or drink for almost three days until my foster mom took me to the vet to help me get better.
I am doing better but am still a bit confused. I am a super sweet boy but don't really like to be held. Don't get me wrong though, I LOVE affection and will sit by you for hours and lay with you once I trust you and my surroundings. I would love to get a new home again, this time forever please! I don't know that I could go through this pain again.
I am looking for a more experienced owner who is willing to work through my anxiety and will give me time to adjust to my new home. It took me a good 3 months to adjust to my new environment and small things still scare me but I come around and am making great progress.

2016 ~Yacko and Dott were returned after being adopted together due to a family member having a bad allergic reaction to them. They are now back at Brimfield Petco after spending some time at their foster home. They are very sweet, playful and goofy. Yacko is outgoing and friendly, Dott is a little more reserved, but likes to be cuddled. She is a bit of a tease and a blossoming diva. They are both dog friendly once they get to know the dog, but don't like being barked at or poked. They have both had a harness on and will walk on a lead. We have visited the residents at the local nursing home and liked all the attention we were getting.
I came to my temporary foster homes with my sister Dott and brother Wacko. We were very scared, hissed a lot and weren't sure if we liked being handled, though we never tried to bite or scratch anyone. We are much better now and love attention once we get to know you.
We are very active, curious and love to wrestle with each other. It will take a little time for us to adjust to a new home and will do best in a home with children, who understand when we need to be left alone and that we need time to adjust. We got along fine with the Uncle and Auntie cats at our foster home. Yacko and Dott would love to go to a new home together since they are used to being together and compliment each others personalities. If this is not possible then we will need to have a furry sibling to play with and to teach us the house rules.
If you are interested in adopting these two siblings please fill out an application at www.rosesrescue.net. You can visit us at Brimfield Petco and can see more of our available animals on Roses Rescue's website.
