Hi! My name is Amos. I am apx 5 years old and weigh in at 28 pounds.I am a happy, friendly guy, looking for a lap to call my own. I was picked up with a beagle friend  by the dog warden.  They got me updated on all my shots, but found out I had heart worms. I got the treatment for it, but it was no fun.I am 100% better and should live a long life from here on out.I am now ready to move into my forever home! Since I came to the rescue,I am living in a house now and what a nice experience that is!   My two favorite things are to be with my person getting pets and being outside on the trail of any squirrels or chipmunks. I will need a fenced yard,since I like to follow my nose wherever it takes me. A fence will keep me home safe,but that's all I need to make me happy. I get along with other dogs too. I enjoy playing with them.Maybe your beagle would like a friend -that could be me!!If you want a happy, loving guy in your life, please pick me!!
