Hi there, my name is Murphy.  I am a smart, happy, friendly boy of about 45 lbs and 2 years old.  I am a great family dog except I have a lot of energy and need some training on how to divert that energy.  I would be great for a runner or jogger or if you have an active dog that needs a playmate, I may be just the one.  We could wear each other out!   Maybe I would be a good agility or dock diving dog?  My foster mom says I am very smart and eager to learn!  I do want to meet every dog I see and my main goal in life right now is to play, play, play.  Guess I am looking for an active family.  I have been known to be an escape artist, so a fenced yard might be best for me.   I am an all around nice Heinz 57 of a fella.  The vet said I have seasonal allergies when I became itchy this Spring.  She gave me some medicine that fixed me up but I may need it for part of the year if I get itchy  If you are looking for a good family dog I may be just the dog for you.
