Roxy arrived with her seven puppies when they were five days old. She’s a good girl, and now that her puppies have been adopted, it’s her turn to find a forever home. She is scheduled to be spayed on September 24 and should be ready to go following weekend, though she would still have to take it easy for another week or so after that.
She’s a pretty girl, with a soft medium-short coat, much like a Corgi’s. Her long and low body-type suggests some Dachshund in her heritage.
Roxie gets along well with other dogs, though she may be a bit bossy at first until she feels comfortable with the newcomer. She does well in a crate and as long as she is crated when her humans aren’t home, she is pretty reliably housebroken. Without the crate she may have an accident, though she won’t chew things or get into other kinds of trouble.
This pretty and sweet gal has a lot of love to give. She’s an easy dog to have around and should assimilate quickly into most households.
If you want a companion to curl up next to you on the couch and lay her head on your lap, that’s Roxie!
Does she sound like a dog that would fit well as the newest member of your family? (Remember, she can’t go home until after she’s fixed on September 24.) You can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here: adoption application
