Ray currently has an adoption pending. We are accepting backup applications only for him in the event that his adoption fall through for any reason.
Sweet Baby Ray is one of Roxie’s puppies. Roxie is approximately 25 lbs. She has a very long body and relatively short legs, so probably has some Dachshund in her and possible some Corgi, though that is simply a guess and really have no idea of her breed heritage. The father of the litter was slightly smaller and looked like some kind of scruffy terrier mix. These puppies will probably be on the small side, but not tiny. They will likely be anywhere from 15-30 lbs or so when full grown.
Ray is our little “Ray” of sunshine! He is a very happy-go-lucky guy, and has always been the most gregarious of the litter. He is probably very smart and should make anyone a wonderful pet!
Please remember that puppies this young will need you now more than ever because this is the age when they begin to understand structure and routine. Besides the fact that their bodies are not developed enough to “hold it” when they are this young, leaving them crated or unattended for hours on end will not offer them the love, attention, socialization, exercise, or training that they will need to become the adult dogs you want them to be for their lifetime - and your lifetime too.
If you feel you are ready and able to make the commitment to taking on the responsibility of a young puppy, you can easily fill out an adoption application by clicking here: adoption application.
