My name is Herman! The dog warden found me wandering about and when no one came to claim me, I was sent to the rescue in hopes that someone might give an older gentleman like me a home. I am friendly to every one I meet, crate trained and like to ride in the car. I will walk on a leash, but a fenced yard would be nice for me. Sometimes I get a little anxious in new situations. While I am not a cuddle bug , I like being near you and am a very easy guy to have around. I've learned a thing or two during my life. I wish for a soft bed, some good food and a lot of love. I do have a heart murmur, but I am not on any medications. In fact,  I had recent dental surgery and came through that with flying colors.My adoption fee is being covered by a kind supporter. Foster mom says when she looks in my eyes she knows I am grateful, and she's right...I am!
