My name is Cheeko and I am looking for a new home. I am a  fun loving small long legged boy (14.5 lbs) a Chihuahua and most likely some kind of terrier mix.I like to play tug of war and fetch. There are other small dogs and bunnies here in my foster home and I am okay with that. Another small dog who likes to play would probably be fine with me, although I have been an only pet in my previous home. I am very good in my crate and at riding in the car and I have just had my teeth cleaned and my vaccinations updated, so I am ready for a new home.Foster mom calls me her bundle of love in a plain brown wrapper!

Cheeko had been diagnosed with IVDD and because of that he has some nerve damage which makes him sometimes dribble urine. He is currently on a homeopathic preparation that seems to help and wears a washable belly band in the house.He is housebroken, it is not something he can control. It presents no problem as he is very good about wearing the band. It will take someone with understanding and desire to help a relatively young dog(will be 7 this year) who is otherwise healthy to give him a new home. He is so very welcome here in his foster home until that happens! Update 5/01/19: Cheeko has been doing much better with his urinary problem. He gets a lot of exercise here, running in the yard and playing fetch as long as you will throw his toy and I'm thinking it has strengthened his muscles and he has better control. I still  keep a band on him at night because I have a carpeted bedroom but overall we are down to minimal if anything.He is well worth the little bit of work of using a velcroy belly band ,with slim panty liners to pull out.
