Hi, My name is Franny (formerly Daisy). I am a very laid back and sweet girl. I am low maintenance and like to couch potato a lot.I don't even need a crate while you are gone- I am such a good girl. I have a sad history. I was hit by a car and taken to the pound. They got me all patched up and then discovered I was also heart worm positive. Roses Rescue got me treated for the nasty worms and I recovered in a nice foster home. I had been very terribly abused and neglected. I was a shell of a dog, for my own survival. It took me some time to come back. My foster family of 8 months rehabilitated me and adopted me. The two young girls in the family(7 and 9), have been wonderful to me. However, I need an adult home, because I still have flashbacks of that abuse. Slower movement upon approaching me is best. I had been perfect, but nipped at one of the girls in the face recently. It was totally out of character for me. All I can say is, I had a past memory come into my head, when she sat down in front of me.I knew I did wrong, but my little friend is nervous around me now.I am so sorry, but I must move out. I am good with cats and dogs, but don't care to play. They think I am about 8 years old, 80 pounds and a Black Lab / Terrier mix. I was somewhat nervous in the pound but that is a scary place. I am doing much better in my foster home and have been rehabilitated, thanks to them.
