Howard here,

     I am a silly, happy hound. I weigh in at 70 pounds and 5 years. I was doing time, for my owner's crime, of not being responsible. I am not your regular hunting coonhound. I am a big baby. I am a low maintenance, laid back guy. I have been an outside dog , but I am now house trained. I am crate trained also. I can be alone for up to 6 hours when necessary. I get along great with dogs and would be a great friend to yours.I would like a fenced yard, to meander around in. I need at least 5 feet, if chain link.Also, I am now e fence trained.A walk a day would be the icing on the cake.I have been heavy handed, so I will blink when you go to pet my head. Can you imagine if I would have done that back to my owner? Do you think I could have knocked some sense into him? Naw, I don't think you can fix stupid. Despite being hit, I now enjoy being petted. I have found out what that is all about and I love it.I am a happy guy and my wagging tail will make you smile.I am even partial to men and would love a man in my life again.Children are ok too, as long as they are considerate of animals. Most coonies are big talkers, but I am pretty quiet. I am somewhat modest.I need leash training, but it won't take me long to to get that down. I am a calm boy that hasn't had much attention. Therefore,  I am low maintenance and will be a good listener to you. I am ready to swap some good stories. I'm dreaming of my new home. Love,  Howard
