Hello, my name is Cane. My mama moved to heaven and I had to come to the rescue. It was a little confusing at first because you see I am blind and deaf. Yes I am a special needs boy looking for an earth angel to take me in. I need a foster or adopter.  I am a 12 year old Chihuahua mix weighing in at about 15 lbs. I am a boy with a heart condition also. I am doing quite well now that I am on my meds. I am potty trained but I need someone that can take me outside every few hours. I get along with everyone big and little, but I need a quiet home with not a lot of changes, so no children please. A loving lap to sit on is all that I need to help me feel safe again. I do need to sleep in bed with my person for my security. I can hold it all night. I need someone who will love and care for me and the special needs that I have.  I am in palliative care as my condition will not improve, but I seem to be doing just fine right now. I just need to feel safe and loved again.

Has a 4 out of 6 heart murmur. Lasix and Enlapril, for my congestive heart failure will cost at least $50 a month. Also on Carprofen and Vetmedin approximately $50 a month.
