About Chili - Soup Kittens | |

|
Meet Chili! Chili and his brothers Chowder, Stew, and Gumbo came to us in early January at just two weeks old. The kittens were found in an Akron dumpster and were fortunate to be saved and brought to rescue before being harmed by the winter cold. Chili has a very pretty bright orange tabby coat. Chili is active and adventurous - he is always exploring and on the move! He is very chatty and often talks to himself while he plays and roams around. Chili is a sweet lap kitten who loves to curl up for a nap on the couch after his adventures. He also loves to wrestle and play with his brothers and foster siblings. The kittens love other cats and have been fostered with older feline foster siblings. They have not been introduced to children or adults, but are friendly and adaptable and will be fine with either (with proper supervision). The boys are litterbox trained and eating hard food. Like any kittens their age, Chowder, Chili, Stew, and Gumbo are learning the ropes of house manners. They have frequent zoomies, love to climb, and will occasionally jump or scratch on surfaces they shouldn't. They require patient adopters who will work with them on their manners and gently redirect them with a fun toy or scratch post! PLEASE NOTE: The kittens will not be ready for their new homes until mid-March. They are available to meet now and we will accept signed adoption contracts and paid adoption fees to hold each kitten for their new family. We would love to see some of these brothers stay together and can offer a discounted adoption fee if a pair are adopted together . The adoption fee for a single kitten is $100; if any two kittens are adopted as a pair, their adoption fee is $150. The adoption fee covers the cost of the kittens' care and vetting, which includes:
-Test for FeLV/FIV
-Neuter surgery
-FVRCP vaccine
-Feline Leukemia vaccine
-Rabies vaccine (if old enough - administered between 12-16 weeks old)
-Routine de-worming
-Topical flea protection
-Nail trim
-Microchip
-Health records
