Hi.  My name is Bailey and I am four yrs old and 70 pounds. My owner dumped me in pretty bad shape. I had two ear infections, lost fur from skin allergies, and was on the thin side. I didn't think anyone cared, but the rescue took me to the vet and I was put in a foster home. Thank you God, for listening to my prayers. I am now on allergy shots. We are waiting to see if this will be all year long or stop in the winter. They cost apx $60 monthly, but I am worth it. I am healthy, beautiful, and strong now. I will love you over and over, for the neglect I have suffered. I am fine with dogs, as long as yours is one of those calm dogs, that doesn't need a lot. I need to be loved and the center of attention.  Because I was so neglected, I am pretty anxious to be near you.  I don't do well with small dogs or cats. They resemble play toys to toss around. I am house trained and can be crated up to 6 hours a day. I would prefer to have a fenced yard to get my energy wore out, unless you are a very active person, that can do several daily walks. I will fetch a ball for hours, if you would like. In my foster home, my real personality can shine.  My foster mom says I have lots of energy and I am learning what is expected.  I guess just think of me as an overgrown puppy, that will need someone willing to work with me to learn. I am afraid my wagging tail,can hit hard, so no young children on a daily basis. Having my people is what matters to me. I need someone willing to work with me, but if you're looking for a happy, fun loving companion that's always ready to chase a tennis ball, I'm the one for you.

Bailey seems to have seasonal allergies and will probably need medication for that, in Spring and Summer.
