I'm Riley, an approximately 6 year old, 17 pound Jack Russel Terrier mix. I am house trained and crate trained. I will come to you if you call my name and clap your hands. I like going for walks (I need to wear a harness) toys, treats, exploring in the yard but I do not like being outside when it rains. I need a fence from the freedom it offers and I can burn off energy. I am a little shy and uncertain sometimes, the world is a scary place. I also really do not like it when I get yelled at or people raise their voice. I am a friendly girl who takes pride in being a good dog. I like to alert you by barking when strangers are near. My favorite place is to cuddle on the couch next to my person with a blanket but I will sleep in my dog bed as well. Mostly all other dogs are my friends so I would like to meet any adoptive siblings I might have before I live with my new parents full time just to make sure we all like each other. Please consider bringing me home for the Holidays so I can be the good girl for you that I know I can be.
