Hi, I’m Sherlock. I’m a 2 1/2 year old, 10 pound rat terrier, full of energy and happiness. In your home, I need another energetic dog buddy and fenced yard. I am a super sweet and cuddly guy, that will gladly snuggle up next to you on the couch, for as long as you will let me. Or we can play fetch. I can chase a ball all day. Every morning I can’t wait to go outside and do my zoomies. I am eager to rush outside every time the door opens, so a fenced yard is a must for me. I used to be pretty scared to put on a leash or a collar. I’ve gotten better about that. Once it’s on, I walk on a leash very well. Another energetic dog is necessary. I have lot of energy to burn off. I currently have a much older fur brother, that does not like to play at all and he can get grumpy when I keep trying to get him to join in. If you don't have a dog, you need to be a very highly active human. I have lots of toys that I play with all day. I love to pull stuffing out of plush toys, but I’m also very happy chewing on tough rubber toys, too. I am housebroken, although I do have an artificial grass pad that I use sometimes, if I’m home alone for more than 6 hours. I know my basic commands and will sit and wait patiently for treats and my meals. I have not met any cats yet, but I seem to be excited to meet every person and dog that I come across. I have been around a couple children, but not lived with any. If they are nice with dogs, I will be should be nice with them. I do not bark much, but I will talk a bit if I want you to play with me. Or I might sit next to you silently and stare at you until I get your attention. I do not seem to mind being in a crate, but I usually have the run of a few rooms and I haven’t caused any trouble. I would really like a family that has multiple humans and pets that can give me attention and keep me busy. I have a lot of love to give in return. Please consider me
