Orla is a typical Eskie.  She can have bursts of high energy, especially when her person returns from being gone for a bit.  She LOVES to be petted.  She also enjoys being outside or watching out the open front door from indoors. We would prefer a fenced yard for Orla.  

She goes willingly into her crate when her foster mom is leaving the house, but she’d probably be fine if she wasn’t crated.

When Orla was at the pound, she was extremely fearful and was nippy when attempted to be handled.  The pound can be a very scary place for many dogs and such behavior is not that unusual under those circumstances.  She has not so much as growled in her foster home, but are looking for a home with her with no small children.

Orla would be a perfect fit for anyone who is a fan of the American Eskimo breed.  She’s smart, loving, and well-behaved.  All she needs is a forever human or two to dote on her and love her back   Could that be you?
