Hi, My name is Nyla and I am a Golden Retriever / Lab mix girl about 5 years old. My previous owner did not take very good care of me so when I was found running as a stray I was pretty much skin and bones. Now I have been in the pound for a while where they fed me and cut the awful matts out of my fur and loved on me. I went into my foster home and have totally gotten my health back. I am an energetic girl now. Walks will be needed and if you don't have another dog, play dates with friend's dogs or a doggie day care once a week would be good. I am a loving girl and would like a home and family of my own now, who will take good care of me and love me. I promise I will love you back with all of my heart. I only weigh about 45 pounds now but should probably put on another another 15 to 20 pounds to be up to healthy weight. I am a sweet girl who knows a few tricks like sit, down, shake etc. Although I have never been taught to heel, I am not bad on a leash. :I get happy, when I see other dogs. I will be ready for long companiable walks with you. You can see from my picture I am kind of ragged looking because they cut out all those mats but my hair will grow back soon.
