Meet Mr. Kiki! This big, handsome guy has had quite a journey. Mr. Kiki first came to us after his family, who adored him deeply, could no longer care for him due to health challenges. They were heartbroken to say goodbye, but we promised to help find him a new home. After spending a few months in his foster home, Mr. Kiki was adopted - but when his new family also faced unexpected health issues, he once again returned to our care. He’s now back with his original foster family and ready to find his permanent, forever home.
Mr. Kiki is social, chatty, and curious and loves being part of whatever his people are doing. He’s a loyal shadow, following you from room to room just to keep you company. He just wants to be with his people, even when he’s not in the mood for pets - he'll watch you cook dinner or play a board game. Speaking of shadows, Mr. Kiki loves them! He is most active when hunting pesky shadows on the wall or floor. While Mr. Kiki isn’t overly energetic, he enjoys playing with his favorite toys and spending quiet time with his humans. He would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a laid-back, loving companion. When it’s time to relax, he’s a warm, lazy lap cat and the perfect TV-watching buddy.
Mr. Kiki was the only pet in both of his previous homes, but in foster care he’s shown curiosity about the other cats. It’s been fun watching him figure out how to “cat” with new friends. Mr. Kiki can be particular about how he’s picked up, so a home without small children will be the best fit. He hasn’t met dogs yet, but based on his mellow personality, we think he should adapt well with proper introductions. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate, and talkative feline friend, Mr. Kiki is ready to fill your home with warmth, company, and a little bit of conversation.
Mr. Kiki is about 6-7 years old. His adoption fee is $50 to cover the costs of his vetting, which includes negative test for Feline Leukemia (FELV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), updated vaccines, routine de-worming, topical flea protection, and a microchip.
