Hello, my name is Max. I am a 10 year old Chihuahua/Poodle mix weighing in at about 16lbs. I am a shy timid boy at first, but I sure do enjoy being with my person! I walk great on the leash, and am crate trained. I also do well in the car. I love my toys and love to play fetch, but I can be protective of my toys with other dogs. I can't say I like cats much. Unfortunetly I have a congenital heart defect that cannot be cured. My meds costs $9.00 a month. I also have a fractured leg that was never taken care of, so I do have a slight limp. I do take pain meds for that. You might not be able to tell, but I have a mohawk style hairdo. I am a guy that will probably have to be groomed regularly. Would like to be your one and only buddy, with no other pets in the home.

I am a sweet loving guy that would love a human of my own to spend my final years with. I look and act healthy in all ways, but my heart is bad and is not going to get any better.  They say my  physical activity should be kept to a mininum even though I don't think so.
