Gretchen, a cell dog graduate, is one of our “One and Only” dogs whom we are very determined to find a forever home for as soon as possible. Gretchen and our other “one dog wonders” will all make wonderful pets, but because they have not been socialized with kids or other dogs, they need to go to adult only homes where they can be the “only child”. If you can open up your heart to adopt one of these special friends, we will gladly thank you on their behalf by providing FREE vet care for their first year with you as well as reducing their adoption free by half!

All our Gretchen wants or needs is to be loved as much by a human as she can love in return, which is quite a lot! It was obvious that she had known quite a hard life before being rescued, but she has blossomed into a graceful beauty and was a favorite among her class as a cell dog. Her soulful brown eyes will melt your heart and she is desperately waiting for someone to take her home and make her their one and only girl.
