UPDATE: Ruby has graduated from the Cell Dog Program. During this program she was trained by selected inmates who were overseen by a professional dog trainer. She attended classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Ruby is now trained and ready for her new forever home. 

Ruby is a sweet 5 year old 30 lb beagle mix that has been with the rescue for over 2 years. Everyone falls in love with her when they meet her and see that sweet, sweet face. She has been adopted a couple times and returned, why, she does not like being left alone. She gets a little over zealous with her food at times too. She is a busy little girl, always checking things out. She thinks it is her job to be in charge. She just needs that one person that can be with her, understand her, and work with her a bit. She so needs to be in a home with someone that can give her that attention she so rightly deserves.
