Teddy is only about a year old. He is an aussie shepherd mix. He is a great companion - loving, gentle, playful. And deaf. He would probably do better in a home with children old enough to understand that they cannot go up behind him because he can't hear them coming & gets startled. He can feel vibrations on the floor. He sleeps soundly & sometimes gets startled if you touch him while he is sleeping. He gets along with other dogs & would do well with a dog who will take the lead and "guide" him. He's a fantastic dog, just has some special needs.
