UPDATE: Franklin has recently joined the cell dog program.  During this program he will be trained by selected inmates who will be overseen by a professional dog trainer. He will attend classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Franklin can be visited and even adopted while he is in the Cell Dog program.

Hi, My name is Franklin and I am a BIG puppy. I am about 4 1/2 months old and already weight 41 pounds. They think I am a Great Dane something mix and I am already very strong. I am in desperate need of training so the rescue is sending me to their awesome Cell Dog program. I will learn how to be a well mannered citizen and not an uncontrollable hooligan like I am now. I do love to fetch and will do it for as long as you will. I also just learned to sit. Once I found out I would get treats for it my butt was on the ground in a flash. I have a few other thing that I need to learn but once I am trained I will be a great dog for someone. Could that be you?
