Hi, I am a young black Lab mix boy that has been running for several weeks. I finally found some nice people who have other dogs and were willing to feed me, so I had moved onto their porch. Because they have a large male dog who will not allow me in the house, they have asked the rescue to find me a new forever home. I am now at Roses with all of the other orphans. I can be somewhat selective about which dogs I like.Rose is trying to break me of that.I don't seem to be bothered by cats.They think I am about 1 to 2 years old, apx 40 pounds, and I act like I may have been abused. Sudden movements  scare me, but I am learning to feel confident again. I am very loyal to Rose and like to have her with me. I do seem to like kids a lot too. I am totally house trained, so I didn't foget my manners, while I was homeless.  If you have the love and patience to work with me and teach me that not all people are bad, I promise in no time I will be your new best friend.
