UPDATE: Sarge has recently graduated from the cell dog program.  During this program he was trained by selected inmates who were overseen by a professional dog trainer. He attended classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Sarge has now completed his training and is ready for his forever home. Could that be you?

HI, My name is Sarge and I am a 2 year old, 60 pound yellow lab mix boy. I am good with adults and other dogs and cats too. I graduated first in my class at the prison training.The only thing is I am a powerhouse of a boy and I need strong owners in an adult setting, so I don't run them over. I am beautifully trained, but will push the envelope.Therefore ,I will come with a free  training collar. I need to be with  another energectic dog, because I love to have a buddy. I am a child myself, so I don't like the competition from young children with my toys. Teenagers are a better group.I would be a great best friend to a man like me! I am up to date on my vaccines, heartworm negative and neutered. I am a sweet and affectionate guy and I promise I will try to be the best dog you ever saw.
