UPDATE: Mala has recently joined the cell dog program for a refresher course.  During this program she will be trained by selected inmates who will be overseen by a professional dog trainer. She will attend classes to learn more about house training, basic obedience and some fun tricks too! Mala can be visited and even adopted while she is in the Cell Dog program.

Hi, My name is Mala and I was adopted through Roses Rescue a while ago. My adoptive family loved me but because some of the members were having severe allergic reactions to me they decided it would be best if I found a new forever home.

I am a former Cell Dog graduate that knows her stuff.  I am about 8 years old and love everybody. especially children as you can see from my pictures. I am very calm with them.You would need to be a little bossy with me when I first meet dogs. Sometimes it takes me a while to warm up to them, but then I get along fine and even enjoy playing with them. I have not met cats, but we don't want to take a chance. My family says I am a very sweet and gentle girl.They are sad at having to let me go. If you think I sound like the dog for you please fill out the application below so you can come and meet me.
