An adoption is now pending for Sheeba!

This sweet little girl is Sheeba and is currently living on a small island in the Caribbean, in the same foster home as Marley, Lucy and Ziggy.  Sheeba is the most mature one of the group, being close to 2 years old now and happy to let the young ones play a little more while she just hangs out.  She can also be a little shy at first, but responds to love and affection and warms up quickly.  She gets along with everyone and once she has warmed up to you is happy to just hang out in your lap getting loved!!  Her hair is on the longer side, but doesn't appear to be the kind that causes a lot of shedding.  

The life of an island dog may sound great, but is actually much more difficult and dangerous than you might think.  Sheeba is one of the lucky ones, as she has been taken in by the Animal Welfare and has found a spot in a wonderful foster home.  Please consider saving beautiful little Sheeba or one of her island brethren, Marley, Lucy, Ziggy, Sandy or Leo.  Thank you!!
